Happy Sunday Everyone!!!!

Design Credit: The awesome and hilarious Mimi Valentine!

Showcase Sunday is a weekly book haul hosted by the wonderful Vicky @ Books Biscuits and Tea. This week I am celebrating obtaining the following fantastic books the past few weeks!

For Review!

The Lost Prince by Julie Kagawa
Thanks Netgallery and HarlequinTeen!!!!

Five "Star" Reasons I loved this book:

1. Ethan and Kenzie travel around Faeryland and Eatth. Including my home state of Maryland!
2. Grim is still an awesome and has many, like a hundred (ok I'm exaggerating), appearances!
3. Ethan is does Kali, which is one the most awesome martial arts that I every heard of. Who knew sticks could be so powerful? The Filipino culture definitely created an amazing form of martial arts!
4. Kenzie, the female lead, has a surprising secret!
5. Julie Kagawa is a geniuns in the way she writes descriptions of Faeryland, Kali and the other places Ethan goes to. She just plains writes impeccably!!!
6. Ok. I couldn't stop at five. The Lost Prince is a rare five star book where I will never forget; I will love with all my heart; I wish I could hug a physical copy of (come on October) and I will consistently recommend on my blog in the most creative ways possible. This spotlight in Showcase Sunday is just the beginning!

My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century by Rachel Harris

And Glitch is an okay read for me. Like you said, not amazing, but still somehow I enjoyed it! Can't wait to read your review later! x)

Awesome haul, Rachel! Happy reading! <3

  2. Oh, I am so very excited about Julie Kagawa's new project. Who knows how things will work out with Ethan?! She does male POV well, as proven in Ash's book, which makes me hopeful about this one.
And I'll just have to read Onyx soon, there's no resisting it.
    Happy reading, Rachel!

  3. The Lost Prince is everywhere this week! I should hurry up and read The Iron Fey books.

And I'm glad you like The Lying Games books, I need to catch up and I've been wondering if the tv show is coming back

  7. Ahh, you've already read The Lost Prince!!! So excited that Grim still plays a large role! :) So glad you loved it. That's disappointing about Glitch; I've heard really mixed things so far so I guess I'll see when it comes out!

  8. I wasn't the biggest fan of Glitch either. It's a shame, as I think it could have really been great. :( I can't wait to read The lost prince! Grimalkin is amazing so I know I'll love it everytime he pops up. Thanks for sharing, Rachel! :)

  9. I've seen lots of people with The Lost Prince! I haven't read any of these books so I have a feeling I am missing out on something big! I hope you enjoy it. I also had similar feelings about Glitch. Happy reading! :)
